Baby Dulay is a Girl!!!

With great excitement and surprise we would like to announce that Baby Dulay is a girl!!!

The journey to parenthood is certainly a roller coster ride! There are massive highs and lows, periods of excitement and fear, and rapid changes leading to surprises around bend! A girl may have been the biggest surprise yet! But in just a few days of knowing we are going to have a girl, we have grown to know ourselves and her a little better already! But we still have so much to learn! We have come to believe that God doesn’t necessarily give you what you want, but always gives you what you need! And having a girl will certainly be a spiritual journey for us all! Maybe Ericka will be come a little more girly? And it’s a great thing Sunny is emotional and loves diving into the hard conversations because I am sure there are many of those in our future. Of course, after an innumerable number of dirty diapers and sleepless nights! We will wait to see what the future brings! 

The next big surprise in our future is that starting November 1st we will officially be a one home family residing out of Beacon! Sunny will have the best commute, right through the coffee bar and into the back yard! We are still in the official naming process for his incredible office space. Should it be called…The Sunny Shed, The Breakthrough HQ, The Studio… any other suggestions?  Ericka will continue to commute into the city 2-3 days per week through the end of the year before she settles in to nesting and hibernating for the winter in anticipation for this new life to emerge from her womb in early spring! 

Thanks to all of you, our house finally feels like a home that we can nest into after hosting all of you for our House Warming and Gender Reveal Party. It gives us such great joy and gratitude to share it with all the people we love. Community is the most important thing to us. Now, our home is your home and you are all welcome here anytime. Especially once Baby Dulay arrives! 

Thank you everyone that traveled from near and far to be with us for the first of many events at our new Beacon home! This event would not have been possible without all of your help, love and support! It takes a village to raise a child and throw a good party! 

What’s next, you ask? These nomads need one last adventure before the baby arrives, so a Babymoon is in our near future. We are still working on the details… So check back often for updates, photos, and more.
